Contract Packaging Custom boxes and crates, made from a variety of woods as well as plywood, are available in a number of quantities, ranging from short run to high volume runs. All boxes conform to customer specified requirements, including military, DOT, and UN specifications. An assorted range of Mil-spec as well as commercial materials is available for wrapping, preserving, cushioning, taping, and boxing your products. Additionally, fire retardant packaging is also available. The types of custom wooden boxes and crates we manufacture are vast and include specialized pallets, reusable containers, foam-lined boxes, corrugated boxes, and trade show boxes. In addition, pre-tested hazmat containers for the packaging and protection of hazardous goods are also available. Our designs can utilize all types of inserts, including wood, corrugated foam, and molded foam. Custom packing boxes are available in assembled or knocked-down conditions, such as custom designed do-it-yourself (DIY) packing kits, with inserts included.

Experience

Designed an manufactured a custom wooden container for the transport of Villanova University’s solar car that was competing in the World Cup race in Australia. In order to protect the fragile solar car, the container had to withstand the transportation environments of both air and sea transport, as well as the repeated container dismantling for multiple customs inspections in the US and Australia,. In addition, this container needed to be completed in a short time. The team from ActionPak working in coordination with Hardy-Graham Inc. was able to design and build a container that safely transported the car to Australia for the race and back to the US after.
